How the PR Machine Works in Graveyard Keeper 2

Contents

The PR Machine (Panic Reduction Machine) sets your zombie limit. One time each week, you can start a load in the machine. A load uses Charged hypno-devices, Newspapers or the two items together. A load adds 10 to 80 to the zombie limit. It has a duration of 1 to 5 weeks. The quests of Gunter, the Astrologer, give you the machine.

How the zombie limit works#

The zombie limit#

The current load of the PR Machine sets the zombie limit. The sign of the Resurrection Lab shows two numbers. The first number is the quantity of zombies that you have. The second number is the zombie limit.

When you are at the zombie limit, you cannot resurrect a new zombie. The resurrection table shows the message “You have reached the zombie limit. Use the PR Machine to increase it.”

If a load stops and you do not start a new load, the zombie limit goes back to 0.

You make zombies from dead bodies. For the delivery of the bodies, see How the donkey delivers dead bodies.

Excessive zombies#

If you have more zombies than the zombie limit, you get the Excessive zombies debuff. The game text of the debuff is “You have too many zombies, and it’s creeping people out. Your sermons are less effective.” Each sermon then gives less faith and less money. The debuff stops when you do not have more zombies than the zombie limit.

The Hypno Prayer stops the effect of the debuff while the prayer is active.

When you can start a load#

You can start a load only on Gluttony, the first day of the week. On the other days, the machine shows the message “PR Machine available on Gluttony”.

A load stops at the end of Wrath, the last day of the week. A load of 1 week stops at the end of the first Wrath. A load of 3 weeks stops at the end of the third Wrath.

The machine can hold only one load at a time. You cannot start a new load until the current load stops.

  1. Gluttony Start a load
  2. Sloth
  3. Lust
  4. Envy
  5. Pride
  6. Wrath The load stops

PR Machine levels and loads#

The PR Machine has five levels. Upgrade the machine at the machine itself. The upgrade occurs immediately.

Each level adds one new load. A machine of a higher level can also use the loads of the lower levels. For example, PR Machine V can use the load of PR Machine I. If a load shows two items, it uses the two items together.
