How the Donkey Delivers Dead Bodies in Graveyard Keeper 2
The donkey delivers the bodies. This page shows how the game decides when a body comes. It also shows how long a body stays on the ground.
The roll#
- The game compares the number of bodies in the morgue with the morgue capacity. If the morgue is full, the game skips the roll. Your drop chance increases by 5.
- If the morgue has space, the game rolls a random number against your current drop chance.
- If the random roll is lower than your current drop chance, the donkey delivers a body. Your drop chance decreases by 15.
- If the roll fails, no body comes. Your drop chance increases by 50.
Your drop chance starts at 100. It cannot go below 0 or above 100.
The game then selects one body from your body pool.
The chance over time#
This example shows two deliveries in a row, then one miss. The game rolls once every 2 game days. Day 0 is the first roll.
Each delivery makes the next delivery less probable. Each miss adds 50. On day 4, the roll misses. The chance goes from 70 to 100, because it cannot go above 100. Thus, the chance cannot stay low for a long time, and the deliveries come at an approximately steady rate.
Bodies on the ground
A body that lies on the ground does not stay there. After 1 hour 15 minutes of real time (10 game days), the game destroys the body. Pick up each body before this time ends.
What you can do
- Keep space in the morgue. A full morgue skips the roll. It adds only 5 to your drop chance.
- Pick up bodies before the game destroys them. A body on the ground stays for 1 hour 15 minutes of real time (10 game days).
